You get an official Edmonds College email address once you're enrolled as a registered student or have begun employment. Your Edmonds College email is hosted by Google (Gmail), which is part of Google Apps for Education. Google Apps is a collection of communication and productivity tools.

Shared emails may be requested for departments wishing to share inbox management across a group of employees. This option is available to staff and faculty only.

Getting Started

For New Employees

To begin using employee email:

  • Ask your supervisor about the status of your email request if you have not received it yet
  • With your new hire information, proceed to the Employee Account Password Management Tool (EmpPass)
  • If you’ve received your Edmonds College email address, log in to your email at
For Supervisors with New Employees

To request an email account for your employee:

  • Submit the necessary new hire paperwork to Human Resources. HR will notify the Service Desk once the new hire process is complete. Upon completion, the Service Desk will create the new employee email account
  • The new hire account information will be forwarded to the supervisor as stated by HR
  • If you have not received the new hire information, please submit a ticket to the Service Desk
